Marsha
Webster has been a resident of Glen
Ellyn for over 20 years and formerly
served as music coordinator and organist
at First United Methodist Church Glen
Ellyn. She came to St. Mark’s in the
fall of 2007, looking for an opportunity
to be a part of the liturgical church.
Since then she has enjoyed singing in
the choir and assuming duties for children’s
ministries and children’s music. She
has a masters degree in sacred music
ministry from Garrett Evangelical Theological
Seminary and an undergraduate degree
in music/business from DePauw University.
She studied both piano and organ at
DePauw and most recently has studied
organ with Margaret Kemper, past president
of the American Guild of Organists and
faculty member at Northwestern University.
Marsha has also been a professional
fund raiser, serving mostly in higher
education, at DePauw University and
North Central College in Naperville.
Marsha is married to Steve, an independent
commercial insurance broker in Palatine.
They have two children, Ryan and Christine.
