After Hours for Moms (AH)

After Hours is where other moms can connect in the evenings. Whether you work full-time, part-time, or in the home, — or whether you are now an empty-nester — these evening gatherings are focused on the needs of moms with kids at home from age 0 – 18yrs. Moms take a night off and get together on a Wednesday evening in the parish library, to hear a speaker, have a discussion, and enjoy refreshments and fellowship. Topics are geared toward mothers in the childrearing years, but all women are welcome.

This year we’ll hear from parishioner and writer Jennifer Grant talking about her new book Love Your More in her program The Truth of Parenting. We’ll laugh out loud as we play silly games with Birth Order Guru Dr. Michael Maniacci for Birth Order Revelations. Join pastor, writer and speaker Tracey Bianchi as she talks with great wit about life, faith, the planet and too much caffeine as she discusses musings from her book Green Mama: The Guilt-Free Guide to Helping You and Your Kids Save the Planet. Rachel Alcorn and Kelly Allison will lead us in a lively discussion on a revolutionary new way to see and shape love relationships inspired by the book Hold Me Tight. Finally we’ll enjoy some girlfriendly fun at our fall social at Cosmo’s Beauty Bar and a winter Girls Night Out in December during Winter Break.
