Being new to the neigborhood, I was so grateful for the warm welcome I received from the women’s groups at St. Mark’s. The Thursday morning NOVA group quickly became a regular break from the daily grind, offering a safe haven of like-minded moms, all going through the difficult years of early child rearing together. There was always a strong cup of coffee, a good bit of laughter, and a great deal of understanding. The women in the group have quickly become some of my closest friends, and I’m so grateful for the presence of this group at the church.
