The Rev. Dr. Robin Currie serves St. Mark’s as Pastor Associate, assisting in preaching, teaching, and leading worship as well as other special projects. She currently edits the PostMark newsletter. She is an ordained Lutheran (ELCA) clergyperson, earning both Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry in Preaching degrees from Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago. She served Grace Lutheran Church in Glen Ellyn, retiring in 2008. Before entering seminary mid life, she was a children’s librarian, with a Master in Library Science from The University of Iowa. She also works in the Youth Department of the Glen Ellyn Public Library, presenting story times for ages 0-6. She is the author of over 20 Christian and Bible books for children. Since retirement she has done volunteer work in China, South Africa, India and Russia. She is married to Bob Beeching. They have four grown children and five grandchildren.
