Miss Jen

Miss Jen feels so fortunate to be part of St. Mark’s Preschool. After receiving her teaching degree from Iowa State University, she participated in a nationally recognized program in Kansas City that focused on teaching in the inner city. She then moved back to Naperville, where she taught in District 203.  While teaching, she earned a Master of Arts in Curriculum at National Louis University. After a break to raise her children, Miss Jen returned to teaching, this time in the early childhood setting teaching at Wide Horizons in Wheaton before joining the SMP staff. She believes in our preschool mission and the Reggio Emilia philosophy and knows that St. Mark’s is where she should be teaching. She is a positive and devoted teacher who focuses on the whole child. She loves fostering children’s curiosity and learning through play.
