One of Miss Leslie’s favorite things about SMP is that she is always learning – whether it be from a colleague, one of the clergy, or the children – it’s a continuous journey of wonder! Exploring the Reggio approach has and continues to be an amazing experience for her as this methodology feels very natural to her as a teacher. Prior to coming to St. Mark’s, Miss Leslie spent five years teaching preschool at Wide Horizons in Wheaton. She has a B.A. degree in Psychology and Sociology from Cornell College and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. She is also a certified massage therapist, which is her other passion.
